So where's the snow?

Groundhog Day/week/month/year

Anyone else living here? Same thing everyday, except maybe the excitement of shopping?

It wouldn’t be so bad if it was like the film. I could learn to play an instrument. Help out neighbours. Do good. Maybe finally get to understand my husband. But no.

Lockdown ends here February 8th. Then I hope the library can re-open, I can have a coffee with a friend, and maybe have a vaccination. Here’s hoping…

  1. Well we are still locked down here in Ontario. Some areas will open in a few days but not the one where I live. But I am not bored. I am able to ride my horse in this lockdown which is a mental health savior for me. Then there is my blog website. Those two things keep me busy. My husband walks our little dog and does the grocery shopping. I know he is anxious about the delay in vaccinations. I am too. I hope all will go well when your library reopens!

  3. Hi Anna

My biggest challenge is getting through the day without getting bored. I am lucky in that I can see friends once a week. We dance in the woods unless it’s raining.

Reading, guitar playing, Netflix, cycling, walking are almost enough but by 6 pm I’ve done everything.

    Hang in there.

Any sign of vaccinations in Austria?

    Love

    • I really envy you your dance friends, cant think of anyone here who would join me! My writing is what’s keeping me sane at the moment. Have you seen the film The Dig on Netflix? Loved it, my sort of film. Lockdown will be eased here next week so I’ll be back in the library, will be nice to chat to folks again, hopefully my German wont be too rusty! I will get a vaccination in the next couple of weeks as I work cleaning the Doctor’s surgery. I’m trying to get him to do one for Dave, but that’s probably pushing it a bit! How about you? When this is all over we will meet up!

  4. Know the feeling. Feel as though each day very much the same as the previous one at the moment.
