Up in the hill in Geiger wald, just across the valley from us, there are many little paths to wander on. Just off one of the tracks I found these strange things built into the side of the hill.
Can’t think what they are for. Hiding gunpowder for blasting? They’re not wells or water sources as the streams are further along the path.
Then I got it. Ancient hobbit holes, a smaller Austrian race (due to the Lungau cold).
They moved away (also due to to the cold) and these entrances are all that’s left, sealed up for eternity!
So where's the snow?
