So where's the snow?

Muddling through in Austria; God, life and a small black dog

Musing on the river Mur

The view from my kitchen window wastes me a lot of time. And now the dog often comes and watches too-although she actually is looking at the bird table for birds and the Squirrel. It was this view that sold the flat to me. I watch the floods and freezing and ponder on things profound!

  1. You live in a beautiful area. It reminds me of the northwest, the most beautiful place on earth. Well, maybe not, but it’s the most beautiful place I’ve ever lived and visited. 🙂
Also, I want to thank you for visiting my DOOR challenge and liking it. Consider yourself liked, as I cannot get Like to work for me.

    • Thanks Cris! I love your barn pictures, we have some wonderful old farms here in Lungau. People tend to build a new house and just abandon the old, or they can’t agree on who owns it or how much money each will get, such a shame as they fall to bits. There are also a lot of small huts used to store hay, which with changing farm practice, aren’t used and sag and fall to bits. The one in the field next to us was burnt as an Easter fire. Ive said to Dave we should start a hay shed preservation society but I just get that look again………

  2. And I thought my view was good 🙂 These are lovely. You are fortunate.

  5. Time is never wasted when watching nature is involved (at least, that’s the story I’m sticking with) so continue to enjoy the view from your flat. Wish I could be there to join you 🙂
