Cows in the Landscape – Cow week!

Picturecam 091

My first ever Austrian cow shot, near Maishofen, Zell am See

A lot of peeps have liked my cowy entry the Weekly Photo Challenge.

So I decided to amass all my piccies together.

Think this one in Tyrol was depressed!

I was stunned at how many I have!

It’s not that I’m a daft old bat (!) with a thing about cows, its just that in our mountainous land, when we’re walking in the summer, there’s rarely anything else to put in  as a focal point in a shot.

There are horses up on Aineck, but the horses are few and far between!

We used to have a house cow when we lived in Beaulieu, and she was a complete character.

I think cows are hugely underrated, they are loving, cheeky and as frisky as any horse on a cold morning.

So no apologies, here come my thoughts on the Lungau cows!
