So where's the snow?

Who’s been in our garden?

The snow always gives the secrets away of our nighttime visitors. We’ve seen the tracks of the marders in the past. But this year I’ve been worried that this lot were coming to cut through the garden to cross the road to the feeding station by the river. But no, the other morning, it was clear they are coming down the hill, having a wander as did this large specimen, digging up the birdseeds and the bite of grass that show. I wonder why, is it because they know Paggy is gone and they’re not likely to get blasted by a shotgun?

  1. I love waking up to fresh snow and seeing the tracks. It’s sometimes the only way I know who visits our yard. 🙂
