The BBC is mean!

On thing we have enjoyed since the switch off of analogue tv has been the improved satellite signal and being able to get BBC and ITV and so on when the weather has been good. So now, just as the Olympics start, they switch the signal and satellite closer to the UK, DELIBERATELY to stop people in mainland Europe receiving them. Funny all the USA based channels have no problem with that. It’s all I suspect to do with copyright, which is why I cannot download books to my Kindle from

So why can’t the UK tellies produce a fee paying system for us ex-pats? I’d quite happily pay.  But then again there is a website where you can watch all the UK tv legally as its from the USA, just means hitching up the laptop, such hardship.

Whatever, I still think it’s  petty minded and MEAN!
